News Release: Made In Bethpage New York Small Business Expo 4/26/2025

Bethpage, NY - Bethpage Chamber of Commerce is pleased to announce that Saturday, April 26th 

 2025, we will be conducting our first Made In Bethpage, New York small business expo. The Bethpage focused event will showcase our chamber members and local business at the Archie McCord American Legion Hall at 10 Washington Street from 11 AM to 3 PM in the heart of downtown Bethpage. 

The theme “Made In Bethpage, New York” is inspired by the Grumman Lunar Module that was originally developed in Bethpage and partially left behind in 1969 on the Moon during the Apollo missions. This structure famously has a plaque stating “Made In Bethpage, New York” mounted on it by the employees of Grumman of that time to leave a legacy for our community off planet.

Our chamber president, Lisa Moffa, was excited to adapt this phrase to our Shop Local promotions for the chamber of commerce members and community to support our hamlet’s economy.  "Isn't it amazing that Bethpage is the only place from Earth named on the Moon all this time? We think that this fascinating piece of space exploration history is a unique distinction to honor our town's story."

Bethpage Chamber of Commerce is excited to welcome shoppers and attendees to our inaugural small business expo now known as the Made In Bethpage New York Expo on April 12th just prior to Mother’s Day weekend. It will be a great time to shop for gifts and spring offerings!
