News Release: 33rd Bethpage Holiday Lighting Festival 11/29/2025

Bethpage, NY - Bethpage Chamber of Commerce is pleased to announce that Sunday December 7th 2025, we will be hosting our 33rd annual Holiday Tree & Menorah Lighting Festival in downtown Bethpage.

The joyous event will take place on Broadway by the flagpole at Benkert and begins at 4:00 for fun activities like free photos with Santa Claus at Catapano Homes, a Petting Zoo, Tractor Rides, Festive Face Painting and the local group Holy Roamin’ Carolers entertain with holiday harmonies dress in authentic colonial dress. 

Our event also features the annual FourLeaf Federal Credit Union sponsored workshop for decorating holiday letters to veterans to be given to our VA Hospital representatives to share with those in need of holiday cheer from our community.
 
Entertainment includes dance performances from Norma's School of Dance and musical performance by Bethpage School chorus and band, along with St. Martin of Tours & St. Paul's Lutheran church choirs together with special selections of songs and live DJ Wired Up playing seasonal favorites.
 
Special guest appearances include Miss Senior New York Tina Hanley to sing the National Anthem and 2026 Miss Long Island Geanna Koulouris, who just won her title recently and tells us that she grew up in Bethpage. Several Bethpage Chamber members will be on display to celebrate with the community and host their own holiday displays and giveaways.

The Menorah will be lit at 6:55pm, then at 7pm our 2025 special community illuminator throws the light switch on and Santa begins his big finale into town escorted by the Bethpage Fire Department.
