The Bethpage Independence Day Parade is less than 20 days away! Our community has been very busy with weekly group meetings and discussions to plan our first July 4th parade for the America 250 celebration on July 3rd in Bethpage. Several key organizations in town are collaborating with the Bethpage School District, Bethpage Fire Department, Knights of Central Park, and of course Nassau County, the Town of Oyster Bay and our chamber plus local groups that are signing on to participate even after the initial date.

We look forward to the creative floats that our parade will feature and all of the historic displays that are expected with patriotic decorations and festive costumes. Just remember that our July 4th celebration is on Friday July 3rd at 9am with a live concert immediately following with the band Scarecrow featuring the music of John Mellencamp along with many Americana style favorites. After the parade and concert the street will reopen on Broadway by the end of the day and then folks can get on with their America 250 weekend block parties and FourLeaf Air Show at Jones Beach on Sunday and Monday.
