It's taken us a few weeks to recuperate from the fantastic celebratory weekend at the very beginning of October and last day of September! It has been almost a decade since Bethpage had a carnival in town and the Bethpage Water District 100th birthday bash with Long Island's first drone light show sponsored by H2M & Philip Ross Industries was the perfect reason to make it happen. Our chamber board did a lot of coordinating with the water district commissioners and Bethpage Kiwani leadership along with the Town of Oyster Bay officials to pull together a fantastic two day event for all to enjoy with several hurdles and last minute tasks to finalize plus the ongoing challenge inclement weather,  but thankfully it all worked out in the end. We hope all of the attendess, vendors and chamber members that participated enjoyed the weekend. There was a short clip on News12 Long Island too!

We'd like to thank everyone for the cooperation and support to help the celebration and festivities come together. It was a lot of work and we hope to bring back the carnival next summer or fall if we can get the date on the calendar. In the meantime, we are so proud to have learned that the Street Fair was nominated on the Best of Long Island for 2024 under Arts & Entertainment and sub category Annual Events/Festivals.
